Bryan Bresee, the nation’s top recruit in 2020 class, commits to Clemson

Damascus defensive end Bryan Bresee, the nation’s best player for the 2020 recruiting class, verbally committed to Clemson on Tuesday.

Bresee is rated a five-star and ranked the 15th best recruit since 2000 by 247sports.com. Bresee picked the reigning National Champions over Alabama, Penn State, Georgia and Ohio State.

Bresee was named the Gatorade and All-Met Player of the Year after leading Damascus to a 11-1 record during his junior season. Bresee put up some impressive numbers, recording 13 sacks and 34 tackles for loss.

Breeze’s commitment gives Clemson the best recruiting class in 2020.

“This class could be by far one of the best classes ever,” Bresee told CBS Sports. “I think definitely one of the best classes for Clemson.”
