Zhaire Smith, G, Texas Tech
Smith enters the draft with loads of potential to be a solid guard in the league. Smith averaged 11.3 points and five rebounds for a Texas Tech team that had one of its best seasons since 1996. Smith is has tremendous athleticism that allows him to blow past defenders and make highlight plays at the rim.
Smith is a player who may not make an immediate impact, but has the potential to be a solid role player for the Wizards. Smith will have to develop his offensive game especially his three-point shot.
