DeMatha beat Landon 3-0 on Thursday to secure the top seed in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference playoffs.
Last season, Landon upset DeMatha 1-0, causing DeMatha to lose a shot at another National Championship. This game shows how good DeMatha’s defense really is as they held a team scoreless for the sixth time this season.
With the Stags defense remaining strong, and the Stags offense stepping up in the second half of the season, they looked almost unbeatable.
The Stags will be playing Bishop McNamara in the quarter finals of the playoffs on Tuesday.
