Description
The WCAC has had it’s fair share of talented point guards and Anthony Cowan is one of them. The four-star Maryland commit averaged 20 ppg which was good for first in the conference last season. In the final game of the season against Bishop O’Connell, Anthony Cowan scored 40 points. He helped his team reached the semifinals of the WCAC Playoffs and DCSAA championship. Cowan was named First-Team All-WCAC and First-Team All-Met.
Before committing to Maryland, he had offers from schools like Georgetown, Florida State, and Miami. Anthony is a quick and aggressive point guard. He is an excellent scorer and passer that can shoot from long-range. Cowan is good for driving to the basket and drawing the foul. Maryland already got one good point guard from the WCAC in Melo Trimble and now another one is on the way.
