The 2015 WCAC (Washington Catholic Athletic Association) football season is officially over and once again it didn’t disappoint. All the teams were competitive which made it exciting when playoffs came around. DeMatha were clear cut favorites to win the title from the start and they did so despite Gonzaga emerging as the top team in the conference. Good Counsel didn’t have the season like before but they still manage to make another championship appearance.
The WCAC All-Conference First Team offense and defense is announce at the end of the season. The teams consist of players that had an outstanding year.Below is the list of players who achieved that honor.
WCAC Coach of the Year- Randy Trivers, Gonzaga College High School (DC)
It was another good season for second year head coach Randy Trivers. The Purple Eagles came into the season with uncertain on how things would play out since they lost a lot of key players from the 2014 team. But in the end, Gonzaga was the best team in the conference as they supported a 9-1 record.
