Paul VI sophomore Brandon Slater is a four star prospect. He is ranked as the No. 13 shooting guard in the country and the No. 1 player in Virginia by 247sports. Slater holds offers from Maryland, Louisville, Miami, Virginia Tech with interests from Georgetown, Temple, USC and West Virginia.
This season, Slater averaged 8.6 points per game. He scored in double-figures in 12 games and posted a career high 17 points in a 70-69 to Advanced Preparatory International on Dec. 12. The 6 foot 6 wing has a lot of potential to be a very great player. He is very athletic and can shoot the three ball well. Slater’s length and wingspan will help him become a better defender as his high school career moves along.
