The 6-foot-4 rising senior is rated the No. 9 strongside defensive end, and the No. 287 player in the country by 247sports. Last week, Paschal attended the Opening with local prospects Anthony McFarland and Chase Young.

Here is what Scout.com Brian Dohn said about Joshua:

“Paschal is strong and has a great first step. He can get up the field in a hurry and he has the strength to press an offensive lineman off and move to make a play. He has good size, and if he gets bigger for his senior season, could project to defensive tackle in college. Paschal is good with his hands and can move laterally, but he needs to be more consistent with his pad level. He can dive inside on a run and make a tackle, but he needs to continue to add to his stable of moves to be tougher to defend.”

The rising senior has already visited Notre Dame and attended a camp at North Carolina. The Fighting Irish really made a good impression and that’s why they are on Paschal’s list.

“My first time at Notre Dame was great,” Paschal said to 247sports.“The tradition here is amazing. The focus on academics and also football was special. We took a tour of the school today and the campus was beautiful.”
