Five-star power forward Wendell Carter Jr. released his top eight schools yesterday.
The schools that made the cut were Duke, North Carolina, Arizona, California, Kentucky, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Harvard. Kansas is one of the schools that didn’t make Carter’s list. Georgia and Georgia Tech doesn’t come as a surprise since Carter is from the Georgia area.
The Pace Academy product is the No. 4 player and the No. 3 power forward in the country per 247sports.com. He averaged 16.8 points, 10.2 rebounds, and two blocks per game in the Nike EYBL circuit. Carter also helped the USA U17 team win the Gold Medal.
