It’s been a pretty good recruiting week for Xavier.
The Muskeeters landed four-star shooting guard Elias Harden and a day later, they got the news that four-star small forward Naji Marshall will join the team.
Marshall picked Xavier over Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Florida State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina and others.
The Musketeers will be getting a 6-foot-5 forward, who is very athletic and can score the ball pretty well. Marshall is the No. 2 player in Maryland, and the No. 59 player in the country, according to 247sports.
He averaged 18 points, seven rebounds and four assist for Eleanor Roosevelt, while helping his team win the Maryland 4A state championship. Marshall tallied 15.5 points, and five rebounds for DC Premier in the Under Armour Association.
Marshall is transferring from Roosevelt, and will continue to play basketball at Hargrave Military Academy.
