H.D. Woodson shooting guard Kiyon Boyd has risen to become one of the nation’s top recruits after the 2015-16 season.
Boyd averaged 15 points and eight rebounds per game. He tallied 15 double-doubles during Woodson’s perfect season. Boyd had 24 points and 24 rebounds against Thurgood Marshall on Dec. 11. He scored a career-high 39 points against Gonzaga in the DCSAA Semifinals on Mar. 3.
Boyd is rated a four-star and ranked the No. 45 player in the country by ESPN. He holds offers from Georgetown, Maryland, Louisville, Xavier, Marquette and more Division I schools.
A scouting report on ESPN describe Boyd as a player that plays hard and has a relentless motor. It also gives Boyd credit for being physically developed and having a good nose for the ball.
