D.J. Durkin and the Maryland football team received big news on Sunday when they landed three recruits out of Virginia.
It all started with the Terps receiving commitments from defensive tackles Breyon and Brandon Gaddy. This came after the twins decommitted from Tennessee on Nov. 29.
Breyon is rated a four-star, ranked the No. 19 defensive tackle in the nation and the No. 15 recruit in Virginia by 247sports. Brandon checks in as a three-star, and ranked the No. 47 defensive tackle in the 2017 class.
A few hours later, Tyran Hunt pledged to Maryland, and became the 25th commitment in the Terps recruiting class.
Hunt picked Maryland over Virginia and Syracuse. Standing at a towering 6-foot-7, Hunt can play either the offensive line or defensive line. 247sports has Hunt as the No. 57 strong side defensive end in the country and the No. 32 player in Virginia.
