Gonzaga College High School won it’s second Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title in the three years after beating Paul VI, 68-55 on Monday evening.
Miami commit Chris Lykes paced the Eagles (26-5, 15-3 WCAC) with 20 points and nailed a pair of three-pointers. Junior guard Prentiss Hubb registered 11 points, while Myles Dread had 15 points.
Paul VI senior guard Aaron Thompson, and four-star Brandon Slater scored 15 points a piece. Anthony Harris had nine points and Jeremy Roach scored seven points.
