Virginia and Maryland are among the schools that made Gonzaga junior Prentiss Hubb top six list, which he released Sunday on Twitter.

Hubb is ranked the top player in D.C. and the No. 4 shooting guard in the Class of 2018 by 247sports. The four-star prospect helped Gonzaga to a 32-5, which was good for first place in the AllMets Top 20 rankings.

Hubb averaged 13.9 points per game, while forming one of the best backcourts in the area with Miami signee Chris Lykes. Hubb tallied 27 points and seven rebounds in Gonzaga’s win over Mt. Saint Joseph in the Alhambra Catholic Invitational championship. He also played a key role in Gonzaga’s victories in the WCAC Championship and the D.C. State title game.

Prior to cutting his list down, Hubb held offers from Seton Hall, Xavier, Baylor, Providence, N.C. State and others.
