Maryland continued to jump up the recruiting leaderboards with the edition of defensive back Vincent Flythe III on Friday.
“Everyone from the bottom of the coaching staff to Coach Durkin, they make you feel wanted,” Flythe told Washington Post’s Jacob Bogage.
Flythe, who will be a senior at H.D. Woodson, is rated a three-star and ranked the No. 9 player in D.C. Flythe held offers from Boston College, Kentucky, Georgia, Louisville, N.C. State, Wisconsin, Virginia and others.
Flythe has shown throughout his high school career that he is a physical corner with good ball skills.
He will be joining three-star safety Raymond Boone in the Terps’ secondary, which is run by defensive backs coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim.
Maryland’s recruiting class is now ranked 16th in the nation and fifth in the Big Ten, according to 247sports.
