Donovann Toatley’s career night wasn’t enough for Riverdale Baptist to beat Rock Creek Christian on Saturday.
The senior guard dropped 39 point in the Crusaders 90-77 loss to Rock Creek. Toatley had the hot hand from behind the arc, knocking down 11 of Riverdale Baptist’s 15 three pointers.
Toatley was one of two players to score in double figures for the Crusaders. David McCullough tallied 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Rock Creek Christian was led by Rhode Island commit Jermaine Harris, who finished with 26 points. Josh Preston scored 22 points, while Kyle Rose chipped in 14 points and made three shots from deep. Rock Creek scored 55 points in the second half and went to the free throw line 34 times.
