St. John’s senior defensive lineman Tre’Mon Morris-Brash announced his commitment to UCF during the Under Armour All-American game on Thursday evening.
“[UCF] is everything you can ask for,” Brash told ESPN. “Academics [and] they win. It’s only right.”
Brash is rated a three-star and ranked the 40th best weak-side defensive end in the nation by 247sports. Brash picked the Golden Knights over Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Maryland and others.
Brash had a strong senior season, as he tallied 15 sacks and forced five fumbles. Brash was named Washington Catholic Athletic Conference defensive player of the year and received First Team All-Met honors.
Brash will join former St. John’s teammate Cam Goode at UCF. Goode committed to the Florida school after transferring from Virginia Tech.
