One of the biggest storylines heading into 2019 National Signing Day was which school DeMatha senior Nick Cross will eventually sign to.
Now, it looks like we will have to wait a little longer, as Cross has decided not to sign a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday.
According to Rivals.com Adam Friedman, Cross has not made a decision, which forces him to delay his signing.
Cross, a four-star and the top ranked player in Maryland from the 2019 class, verbally committed to Florida State on Sept. 3. Lately, he has been strongly considering Maryland and Penn State.
Cross took an official visit to Penn State on Feb. 1. The Terps has a serious shot at getting Cross, whose former high school head coach Elijah Brooks is the new running backs coach at Maryland.
Cross was named First Team All-Met by the Washington Post after recording 94 tackles and four interceptions for DeMatha during the 2018 season.
