Paul VI guard Jeremy Roach was named to the McDonald’s All-American Game on Thursday. Bishop McNamara’s Madison Scott and St. Vincent Pallotti Eniya Russell will be playing in the girls’ game.
This is the third straight year the McDonald’s All-American Game will feature multiple local players.
Roach is having a strong season after missing the 2018 campaign due to a torn ACL. Roach scored 16 points in the Panthers’ victory over Bronny James and Sierra Canyon at Hoophall on Jan. 20.
Roach, who is ranked the fourth best point guard in the nation by 247sports, is one of three players that’s committed to Duke.
Scott, an Ole Miss commit, is ranked the 13th best player in country by ESPN. The senior guard has helped McNamara to the top of the Washington Post Top 20 rankings with a 18-3 record. Russell, who transferred to Pallotti, is rated a five-star and ranked the 43rd player in the country.
The McDonald’s All-American Game will take place on April 1 in Houston.
