Bishop O’Connell’s Nate Watson picked up offer from Georgia Tech

Yesterday Bishop O’Connell’s Nate Watson has picked up an offer from Georgia Tech. It’s the second offer the 6 foot 8 power forward has received.

This is Watson’s first year with Bishop O’Connell after playing basketball for Capitol Christian. He has already became on of the top power forwards in the country. Watson is averaging 12.5 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Nate made a good impression over the holiday break at the Slam Dunk to the Beach in Delaware. Through two games Watson averaged about 15 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.  In a lost against Patrick School, he went for 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Watson is a four-star according to ESPN. His other offer is from St. Joseph. Since he is only a junior, expect his stock to rise as his high school basketball career continues.
