Jordan Brand Classic: TV Schedule, Rosters, and Preview

Today marks the 14th Jordan Brand Classic. This is a high school basketball event that showcases some of the premier talent that grassroot circuit has to offer. Over the years players like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and Blake Griffin have participated in this all-star game.

The 2015 game saw the West Team edged out the East Team 118-116. Cheick Diallo was the MVP of the East Team and Allonzo Trier was the MVP for the West Team. Diallo scored  26 points and collected 11 rebounds. While Trier tallied a game high 28 points. Isaiah Briscoe also had a big game for the East Team, finishing with 22 points.

This year’s Jordan Brand Classic will feature the top players from the 2016 class. The game will have three players that have committed to Duke, two players that are going to Michigan State, and three players that committed to Kentucky.

Harry Giles, who is one of the players that signed with Duke, will not play tonight due to injury. Center Marques Bolden is the only player in the Jordan Brand Classic that is undecided. Four-star guard Shamorie Ponds (St. John’s) will be the only New York native playing in the event.
