Sophomore Marvin Price announced that he will be transferring from DeMatha to Patterson HS (MD) on Sunday. Patterson is the same school former local standout Aquille Carr played for.

Price is regarded as one of the top sophomores in the area. He only averaged 3.5 points per game for DeMatha as he came off the bench, but he put up stellar numbers for the DC Blue Devils 15u team in the Under Armour Association.

Marvin led the league in scoring with 22.9 points per game and collected six rebounds. He tallied a game high 34 points in a loss to Young Legends on May 29. Price doesn’t have any offers now, but the potential he possesses should get schools interested.
