DeMatha sophomore guard Justin Moore is out for the season with a torn ACL, according to his head coach Mike Jones.
The injury occurred late in the fourth quarter of DeMatha’s 64-42 victory Bishop McNamara on Tuesday. Moore scored eight points before being sidelined.
Moore was third on the team in scoring with 13.7 points per game. He started in all nine games before his injury. Moore is arguably one of the top sophomores in the area and holds offers from Notre Dame and Xavier.
DeMatha is coming off of a 71-49 victory over Bishop Ireton on Friday night.
