Georgetown’s Isaac Copeland will transfer to Nebraska

Copeland will take his talents to the Big Ten.

Georgetown transfer Isaac Copeland announced on Monday that he will be going to the University of Nebraska to continue his college basketball career.

Copeland only played in seven games for the Hoyas this season before deciding he wants to leave the program. He tallied 5.4 points per game for the Hoyas through that seven game stretch.

Copeland received All-Big East Rookie Team honors in 2014-15 when he average 6.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. He averaged 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game during his sophomore season. Copeland scored a career high 32 points against Marquette on Mar. 1.

Copeland will be out for six weeks as he will undergo surgery to repair a herniated disc according to HuskerOnline.
