Gonzaga rising senior guard Prentiss Hubb committed to Notre Dame on Wednesday.
Hubb, who helped Gonzaga win its second Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title in the last two years, picked the Fighting Irish over Maryland, Villanova, Virginia, Syracuse and Kansas.
“The connection I have with Coach Brey, I felt like I could get on campus and he could be a guy I could trust and believe in,” Hubb told the Washington Post.
Hubb is rated a four-star, and ranked the No. 38 player in the country by 247sports. Prior to making his college decision, Hubb took an official visit to Notre Dame.
Hubb was named First Team All-WCAC during the 2016-17 season where he averaged 13.9 points per game.
Hubb will join DeMatha guard D.J. Harvey, who will be playing for Notre Dame this upcoming season.
