
Georgetown (3-0) remained unbeaten after its 83-57 win over University of Maryland-Eastern Shore on Saturday.
Jessie Govan picked up his third straight double-double as he registered 23 points on 10-15 shooting and collected 14 rebounds. Kaleb Johnson notched a career high 24 points and knocked down four three-pointers.
It was all Georgetown through the entire game as the Hoyas jumped out to a 24-6 lead before ending the first half with a 40-19 advantage.
The Hoyas shot 51 percent from the floor and went 9-19 from the three-point line. Georgetown was impressive on the glass, outrebounding Eastern Shore (1-2) 48-26.
Georgetown forward Marcus Derrickson finished with 14 points and 10 boards. Jonathan Mulmore started at point guard and tallied 10 points and five assists. Freshman Jahvon Blair chipped in 12 points off the bench.
Eastern Shore had three players to score in double figure. Miryne Thomas led the Hawks with 16 points in the blowout loss.

- Georgetown will hit the road to face Richmond on Nov. 25 before coming back to the Capital One Arena for a three-game home stand.
