Georgetown junior center Jessie Govan announced on Wednesday that he will declare for the 2018 NBA Draft without hiring an agent.
The New York native had an impressive 2017-18 season where he averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds per game. Govan shot 50 percent from the floor and grabbed 301 rebounds under first-year head coach Patrick Ewing.
Govan, who stands at 6-foot-10, tallied 10 points and five rebounds as a sophomore.
Govan is the second Georgetown player to declare for the NBA Draft. Junior power forward Marcus Derrickson will go into the draft with plans to hire an agent.
