DeMatha senior guard Justin Moore was named on Thursday to the USA Basketball Junior National Select Team for the 2019 Nike Hoop Summit, which will take place on April 12.

Moore is the first DeMatha player since Markelle Fultz to play in the Nike Hoop Summit. The Villanova signee has been one of the top players in the area, while helping the Stags to a 23-3 record.

Moore tallied 14 points in DeMatha’s overtime victory over St. John’s on Tuesday.

Moore, a four-star, is ranked the best player in Maryland and the fourth best shooting guard in the nation by 247sports.

Moore will play against the World Team alongside Cole Anthony, Vernon Carey Jr., Scottie Lewis and James Wiseman.
