St. John’s shortstop Myles Mensah hit a RBI single to carry his team to a 2-1 win over Good Counsel in game one of the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship .
It was one of the two runs the Cadets scored in the bottom of the seventh inning. St. John’s pitcher Cam Remalia pitched seven innings and gave up one run on two hits. The Cadets will be seeking to win their third straight WCAC title at the Nats Academy on Saturday. First pitch is at 1:00pm.
