In his first season with Bishop O’Connell, four-star Nate Watson made a strong impression. The senior center averaged 13 points and eight rebounds per game.
The Providence signee tallied 11 double-doubles and was received First Team All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference honors.
During the summer, Watson registered 14.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game for DC Premier in the Under Armour Association.
The No. 10 center in the nation held offers from Kansas, Maryland, Georgetown, Miami, Florida State, NC State, Georgia Tech and Xavier before choosing the Friars.
