
Maret center Luka Garza was named to the City of Palms Classic All-Tournament team after the performance he displayed throughout the prestigious basketball event.
Despite his team going 1-2, Garza stood out in a tournament that featured players like Collin Sexton, Hamidou Diallo, Wendell Carter and others. The future Iowa Hawkeye averaged 26 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks per game.
Garza tallied 27 points, 14 rebounds, and five block in the first game against Hudson Catholic in which Maret lost, 65-51. He followed with a 32 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocks performance in the 75-68 win over Sagemont School.
Garza wrapped up the tournament tallying 19 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks in the loss to Brentwood.
