Two teams are eagerly pursuing four-star Gonzaga forward Terrance Williams.

According to 247sports’ Evan Daniels, Virginia and Stanford are heavily recruiting the four-star prospect more than any other school that has offered him.

“Definitely say Virginia and Stanford, those were my first two official visits,” Williams told Daniels when asked about which schools are prioritizing him the most.

“UVA, coach [Tony] Bennett he said that I was his first priority,” Williams continued. “He has been talking about offering me since my freshman year and I got it over the summer so you can tell he has been prioritizing me.”

Williams went on to talk about Stanford and how the school’s balance of basketball and academics is beneficial.

“Then out west was Stanford, coach [Jerod] Haase, Stanford is Stanford. Academics, basketball, basketball is a priority out there,” Williams said.

Williams is one of the top players in Washington, D.C., as he is ranked the sixth best player in the area and the 25th power forward in the nation.

Williams is averaging 17.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game for the Purple Eagles. Williams registered 21 points and 14 boards in Gonzaga’s last game against Bishop Ireton on Jan. 22.

Williams wants to take official visits to Georgetown, N.C. State and South Carolina. Williams plans to cut his school list after the first Nike EYBL session, according to Daniels.
